Of one tiny, perfect embryo. At some point I will write all about it, but for now I will just say, Praise God...

The journey so far...

Dec 09 - off bc

March 2010 Provera to get cycle kick started

April 2010 - no cycle, referred to GYN

May 2010 - MRI to rule out pituitary tumor

June 2010 - 1st consultation with RE. Confirmed health insurance doesn't cover any IF treatments. Start saving/mentally preparing

Dec 30, 2010 - first cycle of injectible gonadotropins began. BFN

Feb 15, 2011 - 2nd cycle of gonadotropin injections started. BFN

Mar 29, 2011 - 3rd cycle of gonadotropin injections started. BFP! Sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy :(

June 7, 2011 - Hysteroscopy normal. HSG normal.

June 17, 2011 - AMH 0.72. New diagnosis of DOR.

Aug/Sept 2011 - IVF cycle #1 - agonist/antagonist conversion protocol w/ estrogen priming. Failed miserably. Only 2 mature eggs produced, both of which fertilized but neither embryo made it to blast/transfer :(

Oct 2011 - HRT started to induce "natural" cycles (Provera and Estrace)

Nov 2011- started a new job WITH IF coverage!

Feb 2012 - acupuncture started along with supplements (still on HRT)

May 2012 - IVF # 2 - micro flare Lupron protocol. 2 grade 3 (out of 5) embryos 2dt. BFP

Jan 2013 - Parenthood, Chapter 1
